Support Groups
For many, life can present unforeseen challenges, White's Chapel support groups are available to help comfort, inform and care for people facing difficult situations. From groups focused on family identities, health concerns or cancer diagnoses to those focused on supporting people through grief, church support groups offer hope and encouragement to many people in need.

Alzheimer’s Support Group
third Tuesday of every month | 6:30-8 p.m.
This group is for caregivers helping loved ones with dementia. The group shares experiences while learning about available community resources and ways to cope with long-term caregiving. If you have friends or neighbors experiencing a dementia walk, please invite them to join this support group. Children of Aging Parents Support Group (COAP)
second Tuesday of every month | 7-8:30 p.m.
Children of Aging Parents (COAP) is a support group for adult children caring for their elderly parents. We share experiences, learn about community resources and ways to cope with long-term caregiving. For more information, contact Betsy Hay at 817-488-3121, or Cheryl Mart at 817-233-5442.

Christians Facing Cancer
Second Tuesday of Each Month | 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Christians Facing Cancer provides encouragement for cancer patients, caregivers, family members, and friends whose lives have been impacted by a cancer diagnosis. The group meets on the second Tuesday of each month. All are welcome and registration is not required. For additional information, contact BJ Landers (817) 683-6088.

Moms Missing Moms Support Group
The Compassionate Friends
Moms Missing Moms is a monthly support group for motherless daughters and motherless mothers of all ages who have lost their mother through death, losing her through illness, or by estrangement. The intention of this group is to process grief and loss in a safe and confidential setting. For information contact Megan Arnold, Courtney Meek or Carrie Moore.

The Compassionate Friends
fourth Tuesday of every month | 7–8:30pm
Whether your family has had a child die (at any age from any cause) or you are trying to help those who have gone through this life altering experience, The Compassionate Friends group exists to provide friendship, understanding and hope to those going through the natural grieving process.
